Gardener Pinnacles is an island sitting on 5 acreage of land and comprises of the smallest land mass among the several Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. The underwater shelves extend outwards from these pinnacles and reach out to an area of about 604, 000 acres or 2,446 sq kilometers.
Manana is a Hawaiian name that translates to ‘buoyant’. Commonly, the islet is known as the Rabbit Island largely because the island appears to be shaped like a head of a rabbit and also because the island was once a time inhabited by some introduced rabbits.
Ho’okipa Beach, Maui is a world renowned destination for windsurfing with impressive and dramatic surf for the sightseers also. For the windsurfers, Ho’okipa Beach is their Mecca just like Mount Everest is the Mecca for mountain climbers.
