What is the most magnificent animal you have always wanted to see? Is it an animal that comes from the land or is it hiding deep in the sea? For us, a place we always wanted to visit is Seattle which is home to one of the most intelligent sea mammals-whales! After some deliberation, we decided to make your dream true and share our experience with you all. It is important to see these wonders of nature in person and to realize the importance of preserving all animal kinds.
To be honest, we were truly charmed by Seattle. Its beautiful waterfront makes it unique and it can wake all your senses up. Why do you ask? No matter the time of day you decide to take a cup of coffee near the water, you will be stunned by the view. It is so magnificent that even your drink tastes like out of this world! Pioneer Square and Seattle old town are a story to be told on its own.
But let’s just go back to why we decided to inform you about the best time to visit Seattle. From May until late October most people visit it for only one purpose and one tour: seeing the whales. You can try and prepare your self for this experience but thrust our words, what you are about to see can’t be properly explained by any photos or written words. Imagine yourself on a boat with not that many people around you.
Only open water and the sound of waves is what surrounds you when suddenly a glorious creature jumps out of the sea with frightening force. It looks like a fish but it is a mammal and not just any mammal. Whales are considered to be the smartest animals in the water. They can communicate with one another and more importantly it is scientifically proven that they have feelings.
Do you now agree with us that no money in the world could replace what you can see in Seattle from May until October? Why then? Well, the sea is the warmest and only then whales tend to get closer to the shore. The lucky few claim to have seen them from a couple of meters but, honestly, we were not that lucky.
To spice it all up a little bit more, you can add a couple of things to your whale watching the tour. Snorkeling in the sunset is a dream come true for many tourists, especially in July or August!
There is nothing as exciting as seeing see giants out of the water, jumping so high but so easy. If any of you have already been that lucky to see them as we did, don’t hesitate to leave a comment or write to us so we can improve other peoples experience and share our joy!
