This multi-million people city has been a center of Vietnamese culture for centuries. People have started to realize how much it can offer, both culturally and gastronomically, so in the next couple of paragraphs, we shall mention why Hanoi in an inevitable town on your to-visit list!

What we recommend as soon as you arrive is to take a walk around the city on your own. This way you will get a general impression of what awaits you. Don’t bother yourself with the names of buildings or squares or museums since that is what your tour guide will explain in detail. Yes, hiring a tour guide should be your next step! It will be well worth it because it can truly fulfill your experience in Vietnam.

Do you enjoy shopping as well as sightseeing? If you do then you must visit Dong Xuan market! More than 2 centuries old, this market is the largest in Hanoi! From groceries to souvenirs and clothes, it offers a large variety of items originally from Vietnam.

How many things to do in Hanoi are there? If you don’t know what you are looking for too many! For some cultural impact, check out Opera House! This building represents both cultural and architectural wonder for Vietnamese people and tourists as well. For an enhanced experience continue your walk towards the temple of literature.
