St. Petersburg is Russia’s second largest city, nestled on the Neva River at the top of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. The city has staged historical significance since it was founded by Peter the Great on May 27, 1703 as it witnessed the rise and fall of Imperial Russia, civil war and three revolutions.

Moscow is the capital of Russia. Moscow has existed as a city and urban centre for over eight centuries. It was even the capital city for the Soviet Union before the split of the union. Since then, Moscow has advanced modern architecture and newer transport systems that has largely replaced the old soviet design of infrastructural facilities and architecture.
