The Rocky Mountains, Canada

The Rocky Mountains, commonly called The Rockies, are a region in Canada that runs through the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Simply breathtaking, The Rockies boast of diverse terrain comprised of jagged snow-capped mountain peaks, lush rainforests, crystal-clear mountain lakes and veil-like waterfalls—attractions that entice millions of tourists all over the globe to travel to this side of Canada.

Visiting the Rocky Mountains means to engage in an adventure beyond compare. The tour takes the tourists on a remote wilderness and ruggedly stunning and mountainous landscape. The destinations include the mountain towns of Jasper and Banff, serene Columbia Icefield, and the captivating Lake Louise. The visit to Canada’s Rocky Mountains also allows the tourists to experience one of the world’s most spectacular roads, the Icefields Parkway. Tourists enter Canada’s Rocky Mountains through the closest international airports found in Edmonton and Calgary. Some also arrive in Vancouver, and from there will take regional flight to Cranbrook or simply drive to The Rockies. This region has quite many highways that render views to the extremely scenic Rocky Mountains. Loaded with spectacular features and irresistible natural beauty, the trip to the Rocky Mountains  will definitely be one of the best experiences you will ever have.
